it, this is going to be dangerous for me. What are you offering for my
help?”

Natural Traditional Healthy Cooking with flavors from natural herbs.
Nutritional home cooked Greek food has been proved by researchers to lessen health problems. The answer is to cook and eat a wide variety of minimal processed foods to cover all the nutritional bases.
The beauty of genuine Greek cooking and eating is using a good amount of extra virgin olive oil rich in oleic acid. Legumes are rich in vitamins, vegetables high in vitamins and fibres, the probiotics in yogurt, cheeses, antioxidants in red wine, whole wheat breads, cold-pressed vegetable oils along with good exercise such as walking all increase “good” cholesterol and a healthy heart.
Eat moderate portions and now and again spoil yourself with a Greek desert, baked with nuts and semolina.

The Real Captain Frankie! |
Be proud of your work and never let anyone bring you down you have a unique talent and work on it. “Be bold and be Brave” my favourite quote in life.
After perusing Amazon for children’s books I found three books written by Anna Othitis which would satisfy my desire to be a child again, reading a book intended for me.Being a child of the 1950’s when I wanted to play with my friends; besides playing all the regular games we loved to play, we would ultimately wind up playing pretend or make believe sometimes for hours.
In “My First Travel Book” not only did I get, or any reader will get, is to pretend we’re on a plane with Captain Frankie who will take us to several places around the world so we can learn about them.
The book begins with showing the flags of the various places its readers will be taken to. Arriving at each of the planned destinations readers will be given a poetic description of the place/site, followed by information about is being seen. And to make sure everyone reading the book understands what they’ve been taught, Captain Frankie then asks questions about it.
I, as I’ve already said, found this book to have a twofold purpose; to turn on a child’s imagination while at the same teaching them something in an enjoyablemanner so their minds will remember it. For having done this so imaginatively, I’m giving Ms. Othitis 5 STARS

Her best bet is to stay away
Was Olivia hearing this right? That made him, and her sudden attraction, downright dangerous. He wasn’t just out of her league. He was a gambler. Like her father. With the shame of her father’s racetrack betting addiction still haunting her, Olivia can’t be part of that world. Rafe’s world. She can’t trust him, or his magnetism. But there’s something deep in his incredible blue eyes that keeps drawing her closer…

When Love Matters Most
(K-9 Trilogy #2)
by Kate James
Adult Contemporary Romance
Paperback & ebook, 368 pages
January 1st 2016 by Harlequin Heartwarming
Keeping her safe at all costs
Could their backgrounds be any more different? Rick Vasquez, a K-9 unit sergeant with the San Diego Police Department, fled drug-related violence in Mexico as a boy. Madison Long, who recently became primary veterinarian to the SDPD’s canines, is the privileged daughter of a judge. Rick has dedicated his life to curtailing cross-border drug trafficking and preventing other young boys from being drawn into the dark world of the cartels.
But everything Rick and Madison value, and the growing love between them, is threatened by the dangers of Rick’s job, and the risks he’s determined to take…
As Harlie’s little sister my first romance books were Harlequins. And yes, she knows. LOL! Of course, she doesn’t know that I also read her Blaze books, too. Don’t tell her. Anyway…
What I truly like about a Heartwarming book is that there is plenty of character development and story. This might come as a surprise but I really like the “clean” reads. I have a mind and I use it. I’m not so dumb to think that I don’t know what goes on behind a closed door. Do I need it shoved in my face? No and this is why I love this line. Great stories, awesome writing and characters that I can relate to.
Take Rick and Madison. They have real jobs with real life issues that surround those jobs. Rick goes out every day and might not make it back. Madison is the woman that has to decide if her love for Rick is strong enough for both of them. It was interesting how Madison confided in Jess and Cal about her thoughts and fears. I felt like the author did justice to the men and women surrounding our police officers.
I would be remiss if I don’t mention the dogs in the story. Sniff, Zeke and Nitro…I love those names and Ms. James did her homework when it comes to the different types of dogs and their specilities in police work. I got a real feel for what they do and why. It only enhances the story between Rick and Madison. Do they take over the story? No but they play an important part in it.
Would I recommend this book? You bet. Anyone can read it and I think that they should. Crisp writing, great characters and a plot that is revelant today. Plus, its just a great romance. *sigh* And it makes me want to go back to San Diego to visit.

I admit, most of the books I buy nowadays are ebook, but I almost always buy books I enjoy in their print form. Those keepers mean a lot to me. I love re-reading a favorite passage and then gazing at the cover to reconcile my image of the hero and heroine with the artist’s. I love the smell of the pages. It reminds me of going to the library with my mom every week when I was a kid. I love seeing a book on my nightstand. Reading from my ereader doesn’t relax me the way a physical book does. I grew up with my great aunt giving me bags of Harlequin series books. I’ve spent my share of time standing in line to get autographed copies of books from favorite authors. I love printed books. It’s just that there aren’t as many physical stores around me that carry romances anymore.
A book in the hand means more to me than a good story. It’s like a favorite recipe at the holidays. A touchstone with the things I consider important and that ground me emotionally. Buying books for my ereader may be easier than driving forty-five minutes to the nearest bookstore and having digital reads may be a handy way to travel without carrying six books with me (and hide just how big my to-be-read pile is from my husband), but it’ll never completely replace a book in my hand. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Jayne Ann Krentz says of Blue Rules: “Wonderfully entertaining.”
